Your selected plan gives you access to legal advice and support for personal legal matters, based on the benefits listed for that plan. This may include guidance on civil, criminal, family, labour and estate-related matters, as well as selected document drafting benefits where included in your plan.

Unless it is clearly stated as an included benefit, the monthly subscription does not automatically include court representation, litigation, attorney attendance at court, advocate fees, sheriff fees, tracing fees, travel costs, government fees, filing fees, settlement amounts, fines, penalties, bail amounts, or any other third-party costs.

Any legal guidance provided will be based on the information, documents and facts you give to LexASSIST or the appointed legal professional. Incomplete or incorrect information may affect the guidance given. LexASSIST cannot guarantee a specific legal outcome.

Some benefits may only become available after a waiting period. Matters that started before your subscription became active may be limited or excluded, depending on the final plan terms. Please confirm the applicable waiting periods and pre-existing matter rules before subscribing.

Where document drafting is included in your plan, the benefit is limited to the type and number of documents allowed under that plan. Timelines depend on the information supplied, the complexity of the document and the availability of the appointed legal professional.

Bail-related support may be available depending on your selected plan and the nature of the matter. The subscription does not automatically include the bail amount itself, police or court costs, attorney attendance, transport, or any third-party charges unless these are specifically stated as included benefits in the final plan terms.

Your subscription will only become active once payment has been successfully received and the subscription has been processed. Monthly subscriptions continue until cancelled in line with the cancellation policy. If you cancel, access to benefits may end at the end of the paid subscription period.

LexASSIST is intended for reasonable personal use by subscribers. Excessive, abusive, fraudulent or commercial use may be limited, suspended or refused in line with the final subscription terms.

Lexcorp and LexASSIST may use your personal information to process your subscription, respond to your enquiry, provide access to the selected benefits and communicate with you about the service. Your information will be handled in line with the Privacy Policy.
